Mike

Mike is the proud owner of 4 Gen and is a fourth generation Barber going back to Italy. Just moving back home from 20 years in Arizona operating a 10 chair Barber Shop with 13 Barbers to downsize and start to slow down and work like a gentleman back here in Sanford.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people and friends from Sanford and surrounding areas to come in to get a true Barber service .

I love cutting hair and gathering with people in the shop ! its like one big happy family.

Bones

Who is Bones? Bones (born Jesse Harbison) is a local to the surrounding Sanford area. Also know as an internationally touring Hip-Hop artist Bitter Bones. After spending some time in Hollywood, CA making music and the pandemic devastating the music industry he spent his down time learning how to cut hair. He completed an apprenticeship with Black Door Barber Co. in Portland and decided to come back to his roots in Sanford. He specializes in classic style hair cuts, skin fades, and tik tok style messy haircuts. Also can we say Mullets? Let's turn that home mullet into a a classy modern mullet.

Rufino Lawrance

Rufilo Lawrance has always had a passion to help people build confidence and feel good about themselves.

He has resided in Sanford since 1996 and was employed in local manufacturing companies to provide for his family, as well as taught fitness classes and martial arts.

As his family grew up, he finally took the opportunity to realize his dream of becoming a barber.

He has graduated from Empire Barber School in Somersworth, NH (December 2022) and achieved first place awards in barbering.

Rufilo is excited to take all he has gained in barbering school and bring it back to the community.

John Marescot

What started as a childhood hobby, turned into a passion.

John Marescot was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and he has now been residing in Maine for 17 years. He has been married for 15 years and has a 10 year old son.

John's barbering training began in his home and high school in New York, cutting the hair of family and friends while he was growing up. His formal education was at Empire Beauty Schools in Somersworth, NH and he is now a proud graduate. Among the multiple accolades he earned was the "Helping Hand" Award, which is rarely granted to anyone- it goes to an individual who has gone above and beyond to help fellow peers, staff, and/or guests.

Come to find out, John has barbering in his blood! His wife found out information that he was never told by his father. John has skilled barbers in his family in Haiti, how surprising!

The return of barbershops as a place for men to gather and have their sense of community is on the rise. John is excited to be part of this ever-changing industry and is looking forward to the opportunity to serve his clientele with a style and charm that is uniquely his own.
